I do not recognize “Presidents Day.” When I was young, we celebrated Abraham Lincoln’s birthday on February 12th, and George Washington’s birthday on February 22nd. They deserved the honor. President’s day is a farce because most presidents do not deserve recognition.
Today, America has the most corrupt, illegitimate, and most immoral president in history. Donald Trump does not deserve to be honored because he has not earned the respect of every patriotic, loyal American.
One of the many unkept promises by Donald Trump was to “clean up the swamp in Washington.” Trump’s choices for advisers, his own harmful decisions, and his failure to serve all Americans have overfilled the swamp. His circle of sinners has added a cesspool filled with slime composed of lies and corruption.
On Friday Donny Boy had a very bad day. His former adviser and friend, Roger Stone, was convicted on all seven counts in a federal court. Then former Ukraine Ambassador, Marie Yovanovitch, testified in the impeachment hearings. Her testimony sent Trump into a rage. He was so angry he tweeted during testimony and added another reason for impeaching himself by attempting to tamper with a witness’s testimony. He obviously does not have a “very good brain.”
Every witness has stated facts which condemn not only Trump, but his administration, and his party.
Yovanovitch: “Ukrainians who prefer to play by the old corrupt rules sought to remove me,” former US envoy to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch said at the House impeachment hearings. “What continues to amaze me is that they found Americans willing to partner with them.”
“How could our system fail like this?” Yovanovitch asked.
“How is it that foreign corrupt interests could manipulate our government? Which country’s interests are served when the very corrupt behavior we have been criticizing is allowed to prevail?” Yovanovitch said.
“Such conduct undermines the US, exposes our friends and widens the playing failed for autocrats like President Putin,” she said. “Our leadership depends on the power of our example.”
“Truth matters. Truth still matters, OK?” prosecutor Michael Marando had told the Stone jury on Wednesday. “In our institutions of self-governance, committee hearings, courts of law … truth still matters.”
There have been several administrations who were complete failures in Washington including that of the last Republican President, George W. Bush. However, none have attained the level of corruption of Donald John Trump and his circle of sinners. They are following a playbook obviously designed by Vladimir Putin. Every act, every decision by the Trump administration benefits Russia and harms America.
If we want to clean out the swamp in Washington, it must begin with the vermin who crawled out of the bottom of that swamp and are in charge of our nation’s future today. The Trump administration and the Trump Klan must be removed from our nation’s capital.
We, the people, have the weapons, and they are more powerful than a nuclear missile. Our votes can take back America for the people. Please vote on January 3, 2020, and remind everyone you know to do the same.
