With the first two days of impeachment hearings completed, the evidence is overwhelming that Trump abused the power of the presidency. On Friday he added another charge of ‘attempting to tamper with a witness’s testimony.’ The worst is yet to come.

I wrote that if Trump cared about his country he would resign, but doing the right thing in not in Trump’s repertoire. His huge ego, and unwarranted arrogance will prevent him from following Richard Nixon’s choice, although his crimes are far more egregious.

Today, Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared on CBS and spoke about the severity of the situation.

“I mean, what the president did was so much worse than even what Richard Nixon did, that at some point Richard Nixon cared about the country enough to recognize that this could not continue,” Pelosi said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

For nearly three years I have claimed that Trump is a puppet for Vladimir Putin, and that he is not an American president. He has no concern for the future of our nation; he has used his illegitimate presidency to advance his personal ambitions and live the life of a true billionaire.

The last several days have proven that millions of Americans made the biggest mistake of their lives on November 8, 2016. Trump was and is the least qualified presidential candidate in history. His life has been a tale of criminal and unscrupulous behavior. If he had been carefully vetted by all voters, they would have known that his family has a history of racism. Trump’s personal life has been filled with sexual deviance and adultery. He admitted to the world that he is a sexual predator in the “Hollywood Access” tapes. This is a man unfit to wear the title of President of the United States of America.
