Senator John Kennedy, Republican from Louisiana, told the media that although every American security agency confirmed that Russia was responsible for interfering in our 2016 election, ‘it could have been Ukraine as well.’ On Monday he changed his story.

“I was wrong,” Kennedy told CNN’s Chris Cuomo on “Cuomo Prime Time.” “It was Russia who tried to hack the (Democratic National Committee) computer. I’ve seen no indication that Ukraine tried to do it.”

Kennedy is one of Trump’s most loyal ‘lap dogs.’ After enormous criticism about his fallacious claims on Fox Sunday, he was forced to tell the truth.

“Who do you believe was responsible for hacking the DNC and Clinton campaign computers, their emails. Was it Russia or Ukraine?” Chris Wallace asked.

“I don’t know. Nor do you. Nor do any of us,” Kennedy replied.

“The entire intelligence community says it was Russia,” Wallace said, giving the senator a chance to correct himself.

“Right. But it could also be Ukraine. I’m not saying I know one way or the other,” Kennedy said.

This was one of the most transparent efforts to discredit testimony before the House impeachment inquiry of them all. Fiona Hill completely discredited the efforts by Trump and his party to misdirect the facts about Russia’s efforts to aid Trump in 2016, and discredit Hillary Clinton. The truth is that Trump could not have won the Electoral College without the aid of his handler, Vladimir Putin.

Once again, the Republican Party cannot exist when the truth is revealed. Watching the impeachment hearings has confirmed this fact, and the actors are disgusting. Devon Nunes and Jim Jordan continue to embarrass themselves and their country. They are desperate to spin the facts and they have failed. Trump is guilty of everything for which he is accused; and more.

If the senate gives him a free pass for his Constitutional violations, this would be the greatest miscarriage of justice in America’s history. If Bill Clinton was impeached for getting a blow job in the White House, and Trump is not removed from office for his treasonous crimes against our nation, all hope is lost for our judicial system, and for the integrity of our government.
