The word from the White House is that Trump will sign the latest congressional budget proposal and avoid a government shutdown on Saturday, December 21st. Watchdogs, including members of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and the Committee on Taxation, are livid. Trump’s tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations have already added one trillion dollars to the deficit, and they claim this budget will add billions more.
Republicans are incapable of governing. The economic policies of Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43, and Trump are all based on the failed idea of “trickle down economics.” Each of these failures added billions to the deficit. In contrast, when Bill Clinton left office in 2001, Bush 43 inherited a surplus. When Trump was sworn in on January 20, 2017, our nation was in full recovery. President Obama’s policies saved hundreds of businesses from bankruptcy, and reversed the failures of George W. Bush.
Ask yourself this question; if President Obama had wasted billions of dollars with a failed fiscal policy, and millions more living the life of a billionaire at taxpayer expense, what would hypocrites like Jim Jordan, Devin Nunes, Louie Gohmert, Ted Cruz, Chuck Grassley and others be doing today? They would be demanding President Obama’s resignation.
All Republicans are liars and hypocrites.
