Let me begin with the brutal truth; “what the f**k has happened to my country?” I know that all politicians are dishonest, greedy, self-serving, and lie, but when and why did one entire party decide to abandon their oaths of office, decide that lying is acceptable, and turn 180 degrees from their attacks on Trump prior to the 2016 election and support the most unqualified, immoral, and incompetent man in the world as their party’s leader?
Moscow Mitch, Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, and most of the Republican members of congress once claimed that Trump was woefully unqualified to be president, and joined the “anyone but Trump” club. Today, they know that he is guilty of multiple Constitutional violations. They are aware that he is a sexual predator, and a sexual deviant. There is no doubt that he lied about his success in the private sector. By his own words and actions, the world knows that DJT is the leader of white supremacy in America. Everyday Trump offers proof that he believes he is a monarch, above the law, and that the first amendment should be repealed. And yet cowardly Republicans in name only continue to lie and support him.
Next week Trump’s impeachment trial is expected to begin in the senate. Moscow Mitch and Lindsey Graham have already promised to make a mockery of a process required by the Constitution. The Law of the Land requires a “fair and impartial trial,” but it has become obvious that Republicans will once again violate the Constitution. There will be no “trial” by definition; the event will be a sham as every member of the GOP will protect Trump’s illegitimate presidency.
Rand Paul claims that he will take an even more aggressive action to defend his fuhrer. He claims that if any Republican agrees to do the right thing and allow witnesses at Trump’s trial, he will demand that the Ukraine whistleblower and Hunter Biden be subpoenaed to testify.
“If you vote against Hunter Biden, you’re voting to lose your election, basically. Seriously. That’s what it is,” Paul said during an interview in his office on Wednesday. “If you don’t want to vote and you think you’re going to have to vote against Hunter Biden, you should just vote against witnesses, period.”
This is a blatant effort to misdirect and rig the trial and ensure that there will be no justice. This is the most political action in our nation’s history.
Stand up America. Republicans have become public enemy number one. Election day is November 3rd.
