The Chairman of the Connecticut Republican Party: “I have asked Rob Hyde to end his bid for Congress,” the chairman, J.R. Romano, wrote on Twitter. “His campaign is a distraction for the Democrats to raise money and falsely label all Republicans with his antics. In my view he is not helping other Republican candidates or @realDonaldTrump win.”
Why would the leader of a political party attack a member of their own party? But wait; it gets more interesting. Three other members of the failing GOP are also opposing Hyde’s efforts to seek election in the House.
House minority leader, Kevin McCarthy, minority whip, Steve Scalise, and GOP Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney all oppose Hyde’s candidacy. What are they afraid of? The answer is once again very simple. They all fear the truth; the greatest enemy of the Republican Party.
New evidence that Trump was attempting to blackmail a foreign leader with the intent of gathering negative information about Joe Biden has been discovered. Documents released by Lev Parnas, a close associate of Rudy Giuliani who has been indicted for illegal interference by a foreign national in our elections, reveal multiple communications between Robert Hyde and the disgraced Ukraine agent. Their conversations were focused on Marie Yovanovitch, whom Giuliani was trying to oust as U.S. ambassador to Ukraine at Trump’s request. More scandal for the Trump administration.
I find all of this interesting, and very disturbing. We know that Trump, Moscow Mitch McConnell, and Kevin McCarthy have close ties to Russia. The expose of another Republican who is linked to an agent of a foreign nation forces me to ask how many Republicans owe their allegiance to Russia, Ukraine, or other foreign nations?
Denial is not working for Republicans. The evidence that Trump violated his oath of office and violated the Constitution is overwhelming. He has been impeached, and as Nancy Pelosi says; “no matter how Republicans attempt to cover-up his crimes in the senate, nothing can change that fact.” Trump’s place in history will be as the third president to be convicted in the House.
Now for a fun fact. As all of this is happening in Washington, House Democrats are gathering more information which could result in a second impeachment hearing. Trump’s multiple violations of the Constitution have been confirmed and we are awaiting a decision from House leadership about further charges against the most corrupt president in our nation’s history.
If you are not ashamed of the entire right-wing for their failures to support the future of our nation and the Constitution, you are a Trump supporter and deserve all the negative things which will happen because Russia and the mainstream media helped you give Trump a win in the Electoral College.
We, the people, deserve an American president. Trump does not represent me, nor does his party. On November 3rd we can restore dignity and respect to the Oval Office and defeat today’s Republican Party in name only which has become the enemy of the people.
