Former National Security Adviser John Bolton is releasing a new book. In the book Bolton says, “Donald Trump told him that nearly $400 million in military aid to Ukraine was held up to pressure the country to interfere in the 2020 elections,” which would be a direct challenge to every Republican senator.
Moscow Mitch and his Republican cronies are fully aware that calling witnesses and introducing new evidence would mean the end of Trump’s illegitimate presidency. Less extremist senators, including Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Cory Gardner, Mitt Romney, and Lamar Alexander may heed their Constitutional obligations and vote in favor of a real trial and end this current sham.
Moscow Mitch continues to believe that he is in complete control of the legislative branch of our government. If my America is to be saved, this old, white traitor to the American people must be evicted from Washington. He is the creator of the “party of no,” and the reason our government is dysfunctional.
Let’s look at the facts. Two witnesses with firsthand knowledge of Trump’s Constitutional violations would send him back to his garish golden penthouse; where he belongs. He can watch Fox on his own television and spend his own money traveling to and from Mar-a-Lago and his other millionaires only resorts to golf. He is unfit to claim the title of President of the United States. Bolton and Lev Parnas would offer irrefutable evidence that Trump lied to congress and the American people. For a second time he sought help from a foreign nation to aid him in an election. During one of his hate rallies in 2016, he asked Russia to reveal what has become a fallacious charge against Hillary Clinton; her personal e-mails. Today he is asking President Zelinsky of Ukraine to “dig up dirt” on Joe Biden.
Trump holds the honor of being America’s 45th president, but he doesn’t appreciate this fact. He sees his position as an opportunity to increase his personal wealth. Trump has no interest in the future of our country, and more importantly, he has no interest in the plight of working-class Americans. In three very long years Trump has increased the wealth and quality of the one percent.
As he took the oath of office on January 20, 2017, which was his first major lie, America had 545 billionaires and 10.1 million millionaires. Today there are 704 billionaires and 18.6 million millionaires. This fact is a part of the reason Trump’s fiscal policies have added 1.2 trillion dollars to the national debt.
Trump loves to brag about the economy, although the truth is, he has nothing to do with the positive gains in the stock market. These policies began under President Obama’s administration. He does get the “credit” for stagnant wages, diminishing benefits packages, lost jobs thanks to ill-advised tariffs, and the increasing gap in income inequality. One half of our nation’s 330 million people struggle in two economic levels; those who live below the poverty line, and the remainder who are called ‘low income.’
Capitalism, as it exists today, has failed most Americans. Credit card debt, overcharging for healthcare and prescription drugs, and rising housing costs are responsible for increasing the difficulties of more than 50 percent of all Americans. Our country cannot exist if these conditions continue.
Trump deserved to be impeached, and he should be removed from office. His crimes against America are numerous and unforgivable. However, without those Constitutional violations he remains unfit to be our nation’s president. He refused to represent all Americans; choosing to support those who support him and the rest of us can literally ‘go to hell.’
Please vote on November 3rd, and choose candidates who will listen to your needs and desires. Republicans have become our enemy and must follow Trump out of Washington.
