I can’t really blame Trump for all of this. When 42 Republican senators spit on the Constitution and ignored the evidence at Trump’s impeachment trial, they informed the orange child that he was indeed above the law. Since that sad day for the American people, the newly anointed tyrant has violated the Constitution nearly every day. Republicans remain silent. He is consolidating power at an alarming rate.
Trump is now directly interfering in the actions of the Department of Justice. I am aware that he is a poorly educated man and has difficulty focusing on any issue longer than a couple of minutes, and that makes it impossible for him to read, but if he could, he would know that he cannot be involved in the events for which the DOJ is responsible.
On Thursday Trump admitted that he lied to congress and the American people. Until February 13, he claimed that he ‘did not send Rudy, “the Mental Patient,” Giuliani to Ukraine to discover “dirt on Joe Biden.’ He finally admitted that he lied after the cowards in the senate acquitted him.
On a Geraldo Rivera podcast, Trump defended his crime. Using taxpayer money for personal gain is embezzlement. He claimed that he ‘had to send Giuliani; he couldn’t trust the FBI.’ “Here’s my choice,” said Trump. “Either I deal with the Comeys of the world, or I deal with Rudy.”
Of course, this is another lie. Trump had to know that if he asked the FBI to conduct an investigation of Joe Biden’s actions in Ukraine, they would have referred him to the documentation of an earlier investigation which proved that Biden had not committed any crime by firing a corrupt official working in Ukraine.
The truth is Trump is afraid of the FBI because the entire purpose of this organization is to investigate domestic corruption and protect the laws of the United States of America. Trump says that he ‘has the right to interfere in the affairs of the DOJ.’
However, even Trump’s crony, William Barr, is now complaining about Trump’s actions which he claims affect his ‘ability to do his job.’
Of course, it is highly likely that Barr’s comments on ABC are nothing but a smoke screen to cover up Trump’s illegal intervention in the legal actions of the DOJ. Although the president nominates the Attorney General, once he is confirmed, he or she is independent; the executive branch has no legal control over the actions of the person holding this position. He can make requests, but he cannot make demands
Once again Trump is abusing his powers and obstructing justice. His demand that Roger Stone’s sentence be reduced is criminal. Trump is not a lawyer and has no knowledge about how the law works. The truth is that I am certain that his diploma from Wharton is a fraud. Trump knows nothing about anything. Any man or woman who graduates from an Ivy League institution of higher learning has a mastery of the English language. Trump’s speech is child-like gibberish. He fails to understand the basics of any subject. It is highly probable that daddy paid for his degree as he did draft deferments from the War in Vietnam.
More importantly, he refuses to accept counsel from any of his top advisers. Trump continues to prove that he is a narcissistic egomaniac and is unfit to have the title of President of the United States.
