I absolutely love every time a white Republican politician or a Fox Noise fake journalist attacks Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She outwits them on every occasion and destroys them with what the right-wing hates most; facts.

Ted Cruz claims to have college degrees. However, during the 2016 campaign and during his devotion to Trump’s humongous derriere over the last three years+ he has displayed a level of ignorance surpassed only by the Illegitimate buffoon in the White House and his administration.

Recently the man known as “the worst senator in Washington” made a serious mistake. He engaged in a twitter war with AOC. He was obviously unarmed.

The feeble attack came after Ms. Ocasio-Cortez questioned Trump’s controversial decision to place Mike Pence in control of the effort to prevent a pandemic in America caused by the coronavirus.

“Mike Pence literally does not believe in science,” the New York congresswoman tweeted on Wednesday. “It is utterly irresponsible to put him in charge of US coronavirus response as the world sits on the cusp of a pandemic. This decision could cost people their lives. Pence’s past decisions already have.” She was referring to his failure to properly address the increase in HIV cases when the Governor of Indiana.

AOC continued with legitimate reasons why Pence should not be the coronavirus czar.

“As governor, Pence’s science denial contributed to one of the worst HIV outbreaks in Indiana’s history,” she wrote. “He is not a medical doctor. He is not a health expert. He is not qualified nor positioned in any way to protect our public health.”

As he has for 37 months, Cruz was desperate to defend Trump’s puppet.

“As you are speaking as the oracle of science, tell us, what exactly is a Y chromosome?” Cruz responded on Twitter. “And at what age of gestation does science tell us that an unborn child feels physical pain?”

Cruz should have done his homework. Once again, his ignorance embarrassed himself and our country. Ms. Ocasio-Cortez holds an award from MIT in microbiology. She responded with a tweet of her own.

“Sen. Cruz, while I understand you judge people’s intelligence by the lowest income they’ve had, I hold awards from MIT Lincoln Lab &others for accomplishments in microbiology.

“Secondly, I’m surprised you’re asking about chromosomes given that you don’t even believe in evolution.”

The final score: AOC 4, Cruz a big zero.

Once again, I must interject a fact apropos to this article. One of President Obama’s greatest qualities was his ability and willingness to hire the best and most qualified people for jobs in his administration. Trump fails to have a single qualified member of his cabinet, or in his advisory staff in the Oval Office. When a situation such as the coronavirus would arise, our real President would seek our nation’s most qualified and experienced scientists to create a panel. This panel would discuss the problem until the best possible solution was achieved. Trump continues to “wing it.”

Trump is a failure and is leading our nation backwards.
