Today, Thursday, March 5, 2020, Senator Elizabeth Warren ended her bid for the presidency. For me and millions of well-informed Americans, this is a sad day. The truth is undeniable; Senator Warren was far more qualified than any man seeking the Democratic nomination, and would have been a far better president. She has worked tirelessly for all Americans. Her intelligence is superior to both Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, and makes Trump look like what he is, a buffoon.
So here we are. America is composed of 51 percent women. The average age of all Americans is 38.1 years of age. Voters will be left with one of three old, white men to choose on election day. Trump will be 74; Biden is 77 and will be 78 just days after the election; Bernie will be 79 on election day. If these numbers don’t seem right to you, you are not alone.
Old, white men have failed the American people for nearly 244 years. It’s time for real change. We desperately need a president, a House, and a Senate who represent a nation which is far younger and dominated by women.
Washington is dysfunctional and will remain so as long as men like Trump and Moscow Mitch control our government.
Now that Senator Warren is out of the race, I will focus on the most important election on November 3rd. Moscow Mitch is up for reelection. He must, and I mean must be removed from office.
Finally, of these three very old, and very white men, I consider Bernie the only qualified man to lead America. His ideas serve all Americans. He is the only progressive. For only the second time in my life I find the selection of a vice-presidential candidate critical to our nation’s future.
One final request. If Biden wins the nomination, I beg all millennials and women to go to the polls in November. He is not the perfect candidate but the alternative is Trump. This fascist is destroying your future. You can save your own lives, but you must vote.
