I doubt that they will admit it, but even Trump’s most loyal supporters can see that Trump has no idea what he is doing. Because he either cannot or refuses to read, his knowledge of everything is limited to what he hears and sees on the “boob tube.” It’s called that for a reason. Groucho Marx once said: “I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.”
Trump doesn’t understand anything about the coronavirus, and therefore has done nothing to help the CDC and other health agencies combat its growth. In fact, he fired every member of the team tasked with preventing pandemics. His solution? Take a guess. Once again it is ‘cut taxes.’ This time he’s talking about payroll taxes and Democrats, some Republicans, and publications and television stations who support the right-wing are condemning his ‘plan’
With the federal government doing nothing, state and local government officials are taking steps to keep their people informed, provide testing, and halt the spread of the virus in their states and communities.
The solution for Trump is always related to money. Trump is spending more money on his personal interests than any other president in history. Millions of taxpayer dollars have been wasted on trips to Mar-a-Lago and other Trump resorts, holding hate rallies, and playing golf 264 times as of Mar 8, 2020; that averages 88 times each year since his inauguration. This is nearly 25 percent of his total time pretending to be our president. Add this to his trips to Mar-a-Lago and his many hate rallies and it is obvious he continues to spend more time away from the White House than in it.
As you can see, with all this personal play time, and watching Fox Noise to learn what is happening in America and the world, he doesn’t have time to learn about anything. That’s why he dumped the problem on another ignorant member of his administration, Mike Pence.
All of Trump’s failures have been caused by his own poor decisions and lack of intellect. I often wonder how much Fred Trump paid for his son’s sheepskin from Wharton.
