Another man who claims to know everything but knows nothing offered advice to his poorly educated and mentally challenged father-in-law about the coronavirus in the early days of what is now officially a pandemic. Jared Kushner reportedly told Donald John Trump that ‘the media was exaggerating the seriousness of the virus which began in China.’ Trump obviously believed the New York socialite.
However, today Trump interrupted my game show and offered the following lie.
“I’ve always known this is a real—this is a pandemic. I felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic,” Trump declared. Eight days prior, however, Trump complained on Twitter that the “Fake News Media” and Democrats were doing everything to “inflame the CoronaVirus situation” while claiming the “risk is low to the average American.” He also optimistically predicted late last month that the number of positive cases in the country would soon reach “zero.”
As of yesterday, March 16, 2020, there were 4,565 cases in the United States resulting in 87 deaths. The largest numbers are in New York, with 967 cases and 10 deaths, Washington State, 904 cases and 48 deaths, and California 557 cases and 8 deaths.
Trump continues his attempts to divert the fact that he was initially in denial, eventually accepted the irrefutable fact that it was a legitimate threat, and after governors across America took definitive action to protect their state’s people, decided he had to do something; this is an election year.
After over three years of mistakes, corrupt actions, and failures by Trump and his circle of sinners today’s White House appears to be more of a “clown college” than the office and residence of the leader of the free world.
It’s time we have a real American President. We deserve better.
