Trump Delayed Production of Ventilators and now Fails to Understand why they Are not Available

Coronavirus (2)

Days ago, Trump signed the Defense Production Act which would require companies who manufacture equipment necessary to aid the fight related to a national crisis. However, he refused to implement the act until just a couple of days ago. This would have forced increased production of everything from masks to ventilators which would aid healthcare professionals in their efforts to aid infected Americans.  The healthcare community has been begging the federal government for action to aid them in their efforts to save lives, but Trump previously ignored them.

“We plan to be producing together over 1,000 units by the end of April and of course with GM’s talent and skill, we’ll be ramping up to 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000,” Ventec Life Systems CEO Chris Kiple said in an exclusive interview with NBC News.

Let’s be truthful. The majority of ventilators produced will be available after the peak of the covid 19 pandemic has subsided. If Trump had taken action weeks ago, the necessary equipment to save lives would be available today.

Trump has proven that he is unable to lead America, but to ‘drop the ball’ on a crisis when it’s his job to take charge and accept responsibility for his failure or praise for success is the only reason we need to evict him from the White House. He cannot do nothing, but that’s just what he did for weeks. He is responsible for a growing number of lives lost during this pandemic.

Trump has proven that he was the worst possible choice in 2016.
