While the coronavirus is spreading quickly across our nation, Trump’s primary concern is the television ratings for his “briefings” on the situation. He spent more time bragging about the number of people desperate to hear encouragement, than he did about the facts. His audience received neither.
Kevin Kruse tweeted: “If all you care about are your TV ratings, remember that President Nixon attracted an estimated 110 million viewers for his resignation speech.”
The truth is if Trump loved his country; if he had any concern for the people of the United States of America, he would resign. He is woefully unfit to lead our nation in a time of crisis, and he continues to prove this fact every day.
Even Dr. Anthony Fauci chimed in on Trump’s idiocy. He reminded your impeached and mentally incompetent president that “if everyone in the United States dies, it would adversely affect his television ratings.”
Of course, being the only sane man in the room, and the only person qualified to discuss the pandemic, Dr. Fauci was quick to add that “the everyone-dying scenario was purely hypothetical, he stressed that, from a medical perspective, alive people were more likely than dead ones to watch television.”
Let’s sum up Trump’s 38 months in office. Trump has proven that he is the leader of white supremacy in the United States. Although he brags constantly about the economy, the positive effects witnessed by the American people began under President Obama’s administration. His fiscal policies, tariffs and tax breaks for the super-rich and corporations, have greatly harmed America’s future. Trump is responsible for dividing America to a degree not seen since the Civil War. His failure to learn how to be a diplomat has alienated our closest allies while he cozies up to murderous dictators including Vladimir Putin, Mohamad bin Salman, and Kim Jong-un. He was impeached for violating the Constitution by abusing his powers and obstructing justice. Now he is proving that his lack of experience and intelligence is resulting in a failure to lead America during a time of crisis.
No intelligent and informed man woman who loves America can support Donald John Trump.
