White Supremacist Hate Groups Prove that Ignorance Fuels Membership

Make America Great AGain

Let’s get into a discussion about white nationalism/supremacy in America. To accomplish this, you must put aside your intellect and look at the basic reasons why these hate groups exist.

Let’s begin with the basics. Some sociologist would like to differentiate between white nationalism and white supremacy. The truth is that the difference is inconsequential. The truth is that white nationalists seek rule by pure whites, while white supremacists express a belief that pure whites are superior to all other races. Personally, I don’t see the difference.

Don’t be confused. White supremacists, which is the only term I believe is relevant, exist because their beliefs are based on extreme racism, a need to feel relevant, and are rooted in pure ignorance. This weakness of emotional stability results in anger, hatred, and eventually violence against men, women, and children who are different: they are part of America’s growing diverse population. Their greatest display of ignorance is the fact that pure white Americans are a dying breed.

With a leader in the White House, these white supremacists have become emboldened to march in our nation’s streets and increase their attempts to spread their evil message to other ignorant Americans.

The anti-government “Patriot”/militia movement is at a kind of crossroads thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. This particular hate group is opposed to any form of government control, and at the same time worship the fascist agenda of Donald John Trump. They embrace Trump’s attacks on China in defense of his administration’s failures to address the issues which faced our nation in 2017 and have been ignored by Trump and his circle of sinners.

Ammon Bundy led the standoff in Nevada against the federal government and the “Patriot’s” claim of superiority over the tyranny of our nation’s government.

“It does not matter what is most safe or not, what is good or not,” Bundy proclaimed in a video he posted on Facebook. “Because in this case, the government does not have the right to do what they’re doing. They do not have a right to restrict you from going to church, worshipping, having meetings, or being with your family, grieving with them. They do not have that right.”

Bundy’s meeting in Emmett, Idaho, on Thursday night was primarily about Bundy telling people—roughly two dozen showed—that they didn’t need to obey the governor’s orders. And he pledged to bring fellow “Patriots” to the rescue if anyone felt pressure from “authorities” to comply.

“I will be there,” Bundy told the Idaho Press. “I will bring as many people as we can. We will form a legal defense for you, a political defense for you, and we will also, if necessary, provide a physical defense for you, so that you can continue in your rights.”

A number of other zealots are similarly decrying the anti-coronavirus measures as government overreach, including ex-Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, who urged people the week before to “take to the streets” in defiance of the orders. However, other “Patriots,” including factions formerly aligned with Bundy’s, are taking a more staid route: Avidly backing Trump, submitting to social distancing measures, and blaming the Chinese government as the culprit for the virus’ spread in the U.S. and elsewhere.

These are Trump’s people: extremists who have a far different view of America than loyalists who support the Constitution and its core principles. Their beliefs are aligned with Trump’s distorted and fascist views of our nation’s future.

What can you do to halt the spread of a totalitarian regime in Washington? You can become an informed voter and destroy what is left of this Republican Party in name only. Restoring the principles of our founding fathers can save America.

We cannot call ourselves patriots if we allow the current illegitimate president to support white supremacists and their vile agenda. It’s your choice and your responsibility.
