“There is no cure for stupid.” If you watch Fox Noise regularly, I feel sorry for you and sorry for me. Your choice to remain ignorant and to allow yourself to be brainwashed has lowered your intelligent quotient by at least ten points. I am also sorry for me because your failure to become informed is harming the future of my country. Maybe you just don’t care.
Since the end of December when Trump learned about the coronavirus, he has been playing politics with a pandemic which is killing people. Until he was forced to take action in March, he ignored the medical community. Remember, he doesn’t believe in science. The number of deaths continues to rise, but the right-wing addresses the disaster casually.
Once again Fox Noise defends Trump’s abject failure by attempting to support the orange buffoon and belittle the knowledge and credibility of respected men and women in the medical community.
The list of traitors to the Constitution employed by Fox is long, but one of these fake journalists who has a primetime slot in their broadcast day is Tucker Carlson. Carlson has long been known as an extremist who hates every liberal who ever walked the earth. He is not quite as good at kissing Trump’s humongous derriere as his partner in crime, Sean Hannity, so he tries harder.
Carlson has been questioning the “stay at home” orders from blue state governors.
“It’s clearly a conversation we should’ve had before we locked the entire country down and put 10 million people out of work. But we didn’t have that conversation,” he said. “Instead, we outsourced the decision to public health officials, and that is the strange irony of the moment we’re living through.”
Carlson then declared that “one of the main lessons of this crisis is that the public health establishment failed us badly.”
Who failed? Really! This is one of the most egregious lies from the right-wing propaganda machine to date. Trump knew about the possibility of a pandemic in 2018 and either ignored it or believed that, although he is obviously an uneducated man, he knows more than medical professionals.
Dr. Fauci is calling for a national “stay at home” order, but Trump and Fox disagree. Should we listen to anyone whose motives are purely political, or those whose oath involves saving lives? Only intelligent men and women will select the right answer.
Carlson could not resist one more effort to misdirect the truth.
“We’re being asked to trust these same people without hesitation and for the most part we are doing that,” the host told his viewers. “In other words, the experts failed yet the experts now have more power than ever before. It’s bewildering.”
The right-wing cannot be trusted. “The Truth Lives Here.”
