“Donald Trump has refused to use the federal government to centralize the supply chain for states and hospitals desperate to access medical supplies they need to combat the coronavirus. ‘We’re not a shipping clerk,’ Trump told governors last month. Instead, Trump told them to fend for themselves.” This is from an article in the Daily Kos written by Kerry Eleveld.

This was Trump’s attitude beginning in January. He chose not to do his job and lead the nation. Why? He doesn’t know how and it would require more of an effort than simply appearing on television to say nothing.

Trump’s failures are many, and this is his greatest by far, His choice not to take actions immediately to stem the spread of the coronavirus resulted in many deaths which could have been prevented.

Somehow Trump and his failed and incompetent administration found a way to make it worse, and they did so intentionally. They are stealing much needed medical supplies from hospitals.

The Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday that federal government has been “quietly seizing orders, leaving medical providers across the country in the dark about where the material is going and how they can get what they need to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.”

The Times had spoken to hospitals and clinics in seven different states that described similar experiences. Meanwhile, FEMA isn’t telling anyone what the agency is stealing, why, or where federal officials are sending the materials they have seized.

“We can’t get any answers,” said one California hospital official, who declined to be quoted on the record for fear of retribution from the White House.

The materials include thermometers, testing kits, and protective equipment like masks.

At least 10 hospitals in four states are reporting thefts by FEMA.

Only men and women who choose to be ignorant will vote for Trump in November. He has never been America’s president. DJT is the least qualified man in the country to lead our nation. He has done nothing and remains in denial. Thanks to governors, including Governor Sisolak of my state of Nevada, taking immediate and decisive action, lives have been saved. And once again the orange buffoon is bragging about the accomplishments of others, lying as he claims them for his own.
