The first amendment guarantees every American the right to practice the religion of his or her choice or none at all. An American president is not required to be a Christian. However, when he pretends to be a follower of Jesus Christ for purely political reasons, he must be condemned for his lie.

Trump is a poorly educated and ignorant man. He has displayed his lack of knowledge constantly. Although he seeks the support of evangelicals, also known as “fake-Christians,” he should have taken a few minutes to learn about the reasons Christians remember Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.

Recently, Trump wished America a “Happy Good Friday.” Really: I can’t make this shit up. This ignorant buffoon suggested that Christians celebrate the day when Jesus Christ was brutally tortured and hung on a cross to die. Once again Trump proves that daddy bought and paid for his son’s degree from Wharton. It is doubtful that Trump attended a single class.

The truth is we shouldn’t expect a man without morals to be religious. However, we are justified in our criticism for him pretending to be.

Trump’s illegitimate presidency is a façade. Not once during the last 38+ months has he acted like an American president. He will never be my president. The truth is I am ashamed of the pretender in the White House.
