I refuse to “soft-peddle” the truth about Trump’s ignorant supporters. They are the worst of America; white supremacists, bigots, misogynists, xenophobes, and men and women who choose to be uniformed members of Trump’s cult.
Governors of multiple states have ordered their citizens to ‘self-quarantine’ to lessen the spread of the coronavirus. This is law, supported by the 10th amendment guaranteeing state’s rights. Trump has violated these laws by encouraging illegal gathering by groups in multiple states who are demanding the reopening of our nation’s businesses, although scientists and healthcare professionals advise against such a rash action. Whatever Trump demands, his cult obeys.
Wait, it gets worse. Stupidity has no limit.
“Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.” Albert Einstein
Right-wing economist, Stephen Moore, made one of the most idiotic and supercilious remarks in recent history.
“I call these people the modern-day Rosa Parks—they are protesting against injustice and a loss of liberties,” Moore told the Post in an interview. Moore himself is no stranger to controversial, offensive, and bizarre statements, and in fact, had already uttered a similar sentiment to CBS News, saying: “It’s interesting to me that the right has become more the Rosa Parks of the world than the left is.”
Before I continue, I’ll give you time to stop laughing, that is as long as you are a real American and love your country.
Prior to Trump’s illegitimate election, America has had 43 presidents, one of them, Grover Cleveland, twice but not successively. Not one of them had the arrogance to suggest that their supporters violate the law to achieve their desires, until your Criminal-in-Chief, Donald John Trump.
If you are not angry and do not find Trump repulsive, you cannot call yourself an American. Trump and his Klan have refused to do the right thing for America for nearly 74 years, but the last three have focused on destroying the Constitution.
“The safety of the many outweighs the greed of the few.” This is America, and this is the truth.
