I know how badly Trump has failed to address this health crisis facing our nation. Now, polls reveal that most Americans agree. Only Trump’s cult and the Republicans in name only in Washington continue to lie and support their failed fuhrer. Could this become Trump’s ‘Alamo;’ his last stand?
“Trump’s aides and advisers inside and outside his administration now view disapproval of his preparedness for the coronavirus pandemic as his biggest political liability heading into the 2020 election,” writes Politico. Whoa. Seems a little taste of reality has managed to infiltrate the West Wing. What a predicament.
His “biggest political liability?” The fact that he is only our third president to be impeached, is a fascist, his lack of morals and principles, the fact that he is the leader of white supremacy in America, or that he is mentally deficient and is unfit to lead our nation, none of these are a political liability? Who the hell are they talking about?
George W. Bush’s failure to take action prior to the attacks on 9/11 was a “political liability,” and yet he won reelection.
The focus today is the fact that Trump refused and continues to refuse to require the manufacture of a sufficient number of tests designed to detect the coronavirus. For over three months medical professionals have been complaining about the lack of tests available. Now, Trump is talking about reopening the nation’s businesses: testing kits may be more critical now than ever before.
“If the testing does not get sorted out as soon as possible, it will be another nail in an almost closed coffin,” one Republican close to the White House said, adding that messaging alone cannot save Trump from culpability.
One of the most valid axioms in our culture refers directly to the current illegitimate president who is “all talk and no action.” Truth be told, Trump has never accomplished anything in his life and will not begin now. He is a man-child without a work ethic or the intellect and desire to perform the job for which he was illegitimately elected.
No man or woman who loves his or her country and is concerned about its future could possibly vote for the worst president in history in November.
