Without intelligent and compassionate leadership in Washington, governors in primarily blue states were forced to take extraordinary action to save lives from the beginnings of the coronavirus pandemic. In every other national crisis, the federal government creates a plan to provide necessary aid for any state where it is needed. Trump and his failed administration ignored the situation for months and was unprepared and unable to preform the job for which he was elected.
Congress has been discussing several stimulus packages for small businesses, and the states. Moscow Mitch McConnell is suggesting that the states declare ‘bankruptcy.’
During the appearance on “The Hugh Hewitt Show,” McConnell recommended that the federal government hit the “pause button” before doling out more cash to state and local governments.
“We all have governors regardless of party who would love to have free money,” McConnell said on the broadcast.
McConnell instead said that the states bore some responsibility for their debt due to “pension programs” and said bankruptcy should be the first option.
“I would certainly be in favor of allowing states to use the bankruptcy route,” he said. “It’s saved some cities, and there’s no good reason for it not to be available.”
It’s easy to understand why and how Moscow Mitch created the “party of no.” For the last 11 years he has done nothing for America. As I write this article, there are more than 300 bills on his desk, passed by the House, and awaiting a vote in the senate. He will not allow it. And never forget that it was Moscow Mitch who conducted a sham impeachment trial for Donald John Trump, where no witnesses and no new evidence were allowed. This worthless old traitor must be forced to retire.
Long Island GOP Rep. Pete King on Wednesday ripped Mitch McConnell as the “Marie Antoinette of the Senate.”
For Moscow Mitch, it’s party first, and nothing else or no one else matters.
Time for real change.
