Trump’s own staff will not use these exact words but have expressed their feelings. They are embarrassed by his daily briefings and lack of basic scientific knowledge.
His “coronavirus briefings” are the rants of a senile, angry, old man. While bragging about the accomplishments of others, claiming them as his own, he says nothing and offers no other information other than how badly he wants our nation to return to ‘normal’ although this is an extremely dangerous idea. The “Spanish Flu” returned in 1918. During the first bout between three and five million people died around the world. In the second bout, the loss of life was between 30 and 50 million.
The man who does not believe in science claimed that a malaria medication which has serious side effects would end the pandemic. This “cure” has killed several who recently were given the medication.
More recently Trump suggested drinking or injecting disinfectants. I’m not making this shit up!
What is more frightening, is that his cult believes he is right. They have surrendered common sense and respect for experts to a man who knows nothing about anything. Choosing ignorance is a crime against humanity. These morons have the ability to increase the spread of a virus which has cost more than 53,000 men, women, and children their lives in America alone.
I am concerned for these ignorant members of Trump’s cult. They must hate their families, and don’t want to share their home. I understand that not having a way to create income is crucial; I’ve been there. But life is more important than possessions. The fact right-wing politicians have suggested that ‘our nation’s economy is more important than human life’ offers additional proof that fascism has come to America. When any man or woman in America suggests that the welfare of the country is a priority and that loss of life is collateral damage, this man or woman is not an American. He or she is a totalitarian and unfit to serve in our nation’s government.
Someone should make a bumper sticker which actually means something. It should read: SAVE AMERICA, with a big red “X” across an image of Trump.
The only other bumper sticker I ever saw, which made any sense, offered accurate information: “When Racism and Bigotry come to America, they will be Wearing a Cross and Carrying the Flag.”
