By his own words and actions, Arkansas Republican Senator, Tom Cotton, has proven himself to be a liar, a racist, and a traitor to his country’s future. It was Cotton who attempted to undermine President Obama’s efforts to establish a nuclear arms agreement with Iran. It was Cotton who defended Trump’s many Constitutional violations and supported a sham impeachment trial in the senate. Today the failed senator is spreading a conspiracy theory attacking China for “intentionally spreading the 2019 coronavirus.”

Cotton is suggesting that the United States ban all students from China access to our colleges and universities.

Cotton said that “all the circumstantial evidence” points to COVID-19’s origination from a Wuhan laboratory in the Sunday interview; this comes after the World Health Organization’s Tuesday statement that coronavirus “likely” originated from animals, “most probably” bats.

Of course, he is lying. The most recent evidence about the origin of the virus strongly indicates that it did originate from animals. However, the evidence points to outdoor slaughterhouses in Wuhan where live animals, including dogs, are slaughtered for food.

My biggest complaint about Republicans is that they are not intelligent and make poor decisions. From Trump down to every member of his cult, they allow emotions to rule the decision-making process.

We need Chinese students. Our educational system is failing the American people and our nation. Some of our greatest young minds are wasted every year. The culprit is money. Over the last decade higher education has become unavailable for low-income Americans. Only the wealthy can afford to attend our best colleges and universities. Without allowing students from foreign nations to attend our educational facilities and possibly remain in America to work in our technical and medical companies, our country will continue to lag behind the rest of developed nations.

Cotton, Trump, Moscow Mitch, Lindsey Graham, Chuck Grassley, and others have proven they are incapable and unwilling to represent their states or their country in Washington.

A note to the people of Arkansas: Cotton is up for reelection in November. Show your love of your state and your country by evicting Cotton from Washington.
