Trump and the Trump cult’s vision of America is pure white. If you doubt that today’s Republicans are the party of white nationalism, you are not paying attention to what’s happening outside of your own neighborhood. Real Americans are concerned with the health and well-being of 330 million people, not just themselves, their families, and friends.
Everyday Trump proves that a nation divided cannot survive. This is the joint goal of Trump and his handler, Vladimir Putin.
But that’s a whole story by itself.
I want to inform you of another innocent black person murdered by law enforcement. For years I and others have reported the actions of the men and women who are charged with protecting all Americans who are racist. More black men, women, and children are harassed, physically attacked, and slaughtered by cops than any other group.
Breonna Taylor was a citizen of Kentucky whose profession as a first responder was admirable, focused on saving lives. She was a 26-year-old EMT. I said ‘was’ because on the night of March 13, 2020, three policemen entered her home. At least 20 rounds of ammunition were expelled from their weapons, eight of which were later found in Ms. Taylor’s body. She died on the scene. Breonna was a black woman.
“Not one person has talked to me. Not one person has explained anything to me,” Tamika Palmer, Taylor’s mother, told The Washington Post. “I want justice for her. I want them to say her name. There’s no reason Breonna should be dead at all.” In search of justice, the family filed a lawsuit on April 27 accusing the officers of wrongful death, excessive force, and gross negligence, The Post reported. According to the lawsuit, Louisville police said they were executing a search warrant at Taylor’s home, but the search warrant was for a man who did not live in Taylor’s apartment complex and had already been detained by the time officers came to her apartment.
The authorities claim that they announced themselves and without a response forcibly entered the apartment. Breonna’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, allegedly shot at what he believed to be intruders. The weapon was legally registered.
They didn’t just return fire, there was a flurry of gunfire. Mr. Walker claims that the officers failed to announce themselves.
The family filed a lawsuit on April 27 accusing the officers of wrongful death, excessive force, and gross negligence. According to the lawsuit, the three officers, who appeared in plain clothes and unmarked vehicles, fired more than 20 rounds of ammunition. “The defendants then proceeded to spray gunfire into the residence with a total disregard for the value of human life,” the lawsuit alleges. “Shots were blindly fired by the officers all throughout Breonna’s home.”
Kentucky is a very ‘red’ state. The result of this lawsuit will likely be decided in favor of the three officers. This has become the norm in situations which involve right-wing supporters.
In 2019, at least 1,004 Americans were shot and killed by law enforcement officers. In the U.S., African Americans are 2.5 times more likely to be killed by police than white people. For black women, the rate is 1.4 times more likely.
This graph displays how law enforcement reacts to diversity in America.

This is Trump’s America; is it yours? If you answered “yes,” you are not an American.
