Trump has become part of an old joke. As a science denier, he automatically sets himself up for ridicule, but to offer his own uneducated and dangerous opinions is the answer to “how dumb is he?”
Your illegitimate president denied that a deadly virus was coming to America since November of 2019. When he was forced to admit that he was arrogant and ignorant in March he asked Dr. Anthony Fauci if it could ‘just be ignored.’ Today he once again is claiming that ‘it will go away’ although 85,000 Americans have died and more than 1,200,000 have become infected. He is not bright enough to understand that ‘wishing’ will not make a virus suddenly disappear.
“We think we’re going to have a vaccine in the pretty near future, and if we do we’re going to really be a big step ahead,” Trump told a reporter Friday at a White House event detailing U.S. efforts to develop a vaccine. (Who’s “we?” It’s only “him.”)
“And if we don’t, we’re going to be like so many other cases where you had a problem come in, it’ll go away at some point, it’ll go away,” Trump said. “It may flare up and it may not flare up, we’ll have to see what happens, but if it does flare up we’re going to put out the fire and we’ll put it out quickly and efficiently. We’ve learned a lot.” (Who’s “we”?)
The president had been asked about his comments earlier in the event, when he said, “Vaccine or no vaccine, we’re back. And we’re starting the process. In many cases, they don’t have vaccines and a virus or a flu comes and you fight through it.” (When is he going to begin” fighting” the coronavirus?)
Medical experts claim that Trump is being hasty once again. His rash decisions greatly harmed our nation’s farmers, and may now result in unnecessary loss of life in the following months.
Trump is not a man of average intelligence. Trump guesses and his guesses are always wrong. He is uneducated and incapable of engaging in thoughtful discussion and accepting the opinions of other far more qualified men and women.
Trump and his administration have no knowledge about science or medicine. Any man or woman who was qualified to understand how viruses and all contagious diseases are defeated has been fired. Contradicting the schoolyard bully is grounds for termination.
So, the answer to “how dumb is he” can be many things. For me, “dumber than George W. Bush” comes to mind, but please choose your own definition.
