Trump’s administration is the most corrupt in history: there is no doubt about this fact. The number of firings and resignations is beyond belief. The halls of the West Wing echo without the presence of dozens of men and women who would ordinarily fill offices and joint office space. Some left by choice, and others were forced to resign or simply fired when news agencies exposed corruption and graft.
Trump’s criminal neglect related to his failure to take action which would have saved lives when the coronavirus became a threat to America will never be forgotten. The first time the orange man faced a crisis, he failed miserably. His mental incompetence has become fodder for the late-night talk shows who secretly hope for his reelection. Writers will have material to last a lifetime.
Trump’s ignorance and lack of intelligence will be his legacy throughout the history of our nation if it continues to exist after the Trump administration and the treasonous actions of his party. Today a situation related to the need of medical equipment and the failure of the Trump administration to thoroughly vet a private business which made promises which would be questioned by any man or woman of average intelligence exposes the complete failure of Trump and his circle of sinners.
A company called ‘Battelle,’ located in the red state of Ohio, promised our government a machine which would allow the reuse of protective masks up to 20 times. Trump and his failed administration offered a contract to this company which had no credibility.
Initially the Trump administration agreed to pay $60 million for 60 machines. Just days later the cost rose to $413 million. By May first, the Pentagon claimed the cost would reach $600 million. This process did not include open bidding, and no one is admitting a relationship with the manufacturer. By the way, the machines do not work properly. At most the cleaning process allows only two-four uses.
It’s not unfair to claim that the most incompetent administration in history is running a country of 330 million people. This is truly a situation where “the inmates are running the asylum.”
