The a**hole in the White House is not a king. However, he is a fascist and is attempting to destroy democracy. He is ignorant and is not aware that states have certain rights which cannot be countermanded by the federal government.
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
The above quote is the 10th amendment to the Constitution, and last in the Bill of Rights. A president cannot force states to change laws passed by state legislators or executive orders from governors if the issues are not in the definition and control of federal law.
Here’s what your fascist leader is demanding today.
Some governors have deemed liquor stores and abortion clinics as essential, but have left out churches and other houses of worship,” the president told reporters at the White House on Friday. “It’s not right. So I’m correcting this injustice and calling houses of worship essential.”
Trump added: “The governors need to do the right thing and allow these very important essential places of faith to open right now. For this weekend. If they don’t do it, I will override the governors. In America we need more prayer, not less.” After his two-minute statement, the president left the briefing room podium without taking questions.
The con man is pretending that he is religious. His only god is money. The truth is the pastor of the church Trump claims to attend has never seen him in his place of worship once. Trump is pandering to the Christian religious right whose leaders are anxious to see those collection plates filled once again.
The next time you hear or see a “Christian” leader preach about love and caring for one another, know that they probably don’t care about you; they care about how much money you contribute to his or her millionaire’s lifestyle.
Trump is only concerned about two things: the profits of large corporations, and the November election. These two issues are inexorably linked to each other. Special interests are the owners of today’s Republican Party in name only. Without the support of the Christian religious right and the NRA gun lobby, the right-wing election hopes would be very slim.
One last thing. Why are religious organizations not taxed? There is no reason to allow these men and women who have incomes in six, seven, and even eight figures to refrain from contributing to America. They are using an antiquated government policy to enjoy lives of luxury and privilege without paying for that privilege. There was once an agreement that churches would not be taxed if they did not engage in politics. Today the CRR is one of the owners of the GOP, and this is a direct violation of the first amendment.
America’s government is the most corrupt in the free world. Changes must be made and we, the people have the power to make those changes.
A one-day revolution is coming. On November 3rd we can remove the old, white men who have failed us for decades from Washington. Moscow Mitch McConnell has been in the senate for 36 years and wants voters to give him six more. He is the worst senator in history.
Trump toady, Lindsey Graham, has been in the senate for 18 years, and wants to remain in office. The list goes on and on. Republicans do not serve all Americans and must be retired. Younger, more liberal men and women will replace them. Term limits are a must if our government is to become functional once again.
