First, some old news. Trump has been accused of sexual assault by more than 20 women. He brutally raped his first wife after her cosmetic surgeon apparently botched a hair transplant procedure on DJT. Trump had two affairs immediately after the birth of son Barron: one with a Playboy model and one with a porn star. In tapes recorded by “Access Hollywood” Trump admitted that he is a sexual predator. And he’s still in the White House.

Recently a woman by the name of Tara Reade told the media that Joe Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993. No complaint was ever filed, and no credible person has verified such an attack. The legal firm representing her recently made an announcement that they would no longer be representing the woman.

Doug Wigdor: The decision to no longer represent Reade was made on Wednesday, the day after CNN published an extensive investigation about Reade’s background and past statements. In the report, CNN first revealed problems with Reade’s claim that she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Antioch University in Seattle; the school denied to CNN that she ever graduated from the university.

Then he defended his decision to represent Reade with other thinly veiled accusations.

“Our decision, made on May 20, is by no means a reflection on whether then-Senator Biden sexually assaulted Ms. Reade,” Wigdor said in a statement. “We also believe that to a large extent Ms. Reade has been subjected to a double standard in terms of the media coverage she has received. Much of what has been written about Ms. Reade is not probative of whether then-Senator Biden sexually assaulted her, but rather is intended to victim-shame and attack her credibility on unrelated and irrelevant matters.”

In every poll related to the 2020 election, Joe Biden is leading by double digits. I must assume that a billionaire Republican supporter found Ms. Reade and is paying her to attack Biden. Without any form of proof, a serious allegation of this importance cannot be believed.

I am usually on the side of the woman in these situations. They are often accused of being responsible for the very crime committed against them. However, we have a story of two very different men here. One, who claims to be the President of the United States, and has been proven a sexual deviant multiple times. We have another man who has never been accused of sexual harassment once in his life prior to this occasion.

I must admit that Biden was not my first choice for the Democratic nomination. He is a good man who has evolved throughout his career, but I sincerely believe that the best candidate would be a woman. Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren were my first two choices in that order.

However, Biden will be a far, far better president than the man who is defiling the White House today. Trump is the worst illegitimate, impeached president in American history.
