Trump is a fool. Every time he speaks or tweets, he reveals that his mental abilities are in decline. His “Art of the Deal” is to bully his adversaries. The problem is his position today, he cannot play the schoolyard bully with legitimate leaders of other nations, or any American who refuses to allow him to play his childish game.

Although Trump continues to abuse his powers, with the assistance of Moscow Mitch McConnell, there is a limit. Maniacal despots including Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Josef Stalin, Saddam Hussein, were eventually defeated and sent to hell; some by their own people. So it will be with Trump.

I am not alone. Millions of other American who love their country will never live under fascist control. Don’t believe Trump and his party support fascism and the end of Democracy? Read this definition carefully.

Fascism: “A form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.”

Another: “A political system based on a very powerful leader, state control, and being extremely proud of country and race, and in which political opposition is not allowed.”

Think about the latter. Trump is a white supremacist who places “America first,” and when he is criticized by Democrats or anyone who disagrees with him, he personally attacks them relentlessly with false allegations and conspiracy theories.

He is a wannabe autocrat, but he’s about to learn a lesson about how powerless he can be.

The Republican convention is scheduled to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina in late August. North Carolina has a Democratic governor who has expressed his concern about the safety of conventioneers. If the pandemic is not fully controlled by August first, Governor Roy Cooper is discussing limiting the occupancy in the convention center. This infuriated Trump.

“I love the Great State of North Carolina, so much so that I insisted on having the Republican National Convention in Charlotte at the end of August,” Trump said in a series of tweets. “Unfortunately, Democrat Governor, @RoyCooperNC is still in Shutdown mood & unable to guarantee that by August we will be allowed full attendance in the Arena. In other words, we would be spending millions of dollars building the Arena to a very high standard without even knowing if the Democrat Governor would allow the Republican Party to fully occupy the space.”

Trump is threatening to move the convention. But at this late date no other city appears eager to step forward and offer to host Trump and his cronies.

“This is not political. This is not emotional. This is based on health experts, data and science and that’s it for everybody to see,” Cooper told CNN. “No one is being favored or disfavored over the other.”

Once again Trump displays a total disregard for the health and safety of our nation’s people. “It’s all about him” all of the time.

“Plans are being made by many thousands of enthusiastic Republicans, and others, to head to beautiful North Carolina in August,” Trump said in a tweet. “They must be immediately given an answer by the Governor as to whether or not the space will be allowed to be fully occupied. If not, we will be reluctantly forced to find, with all of the jobs and economic development it brings, another Republican National Convention site. This is not something I want to do.”

Currently the number of individuals allowed in a single venue is limited to 10.

For Republicans one is enough. Trump’s enormous ego alone can fill the convention center.
