“Hopefully George is looking down right now and saying this is a great thing that’s happening for our country,” Trump said Friday in the Rose Garden, shortly after arguing that the economy is coming back like a “rocket ship.”

“This is a great day for him. It’s a great day for everybody,” Trump said.

This was Trump’s comment when he was fallaciously lying about unemployment numbers in America. To my knowledge a corpse cannot apply for employment. Millions of jobs have disappeared forever after the Covid-19 pandemic.

I wouldn’t say that “this is a great day for George Floyd or his family;” but Trump did. He is callous and without compassion for another human being. A real man would be ashamed of himself. Trump is not a man.

Hours after invoking Floyd’s name, Trump further insulted his memory. The President retweeted a post from former Fox News host Glenn Beck that quoted conservative commentator Candace Owens saying: “The fact that (Floyd) has been held up as a martyr sickens me.” The comments followed a 17-minute video from Owens days before that made similar statements.

What “sickens me” is every morning I awake since November 9, 2016 and realize that Trump’s illegitimate election was a reality. My country deserves better. Trump and his cult have systematically destroyed the fabric of our nation: the growing diversity and social advances which were moving our nation forward.

The right-wing is desperate to misdirect every fact about Trump, his Klan, his cult, and his failed administration. The simple truth is that Trump is not mentally competent, and no one in his circle of sinners has the courage to tell the truth.

“Nothing about Trump’s presidency is normal.” How often have we heard this statement. Trump is not normal. He is damaged goods. Abandonment by his parents at age 13, a life without accountability, and a deep-seeded insecurity created a malignant narcissist who actually believes the bullshit he spews from his mouth or types on his smartphone as senility invades his petite brain. Donald John Trump is unfit and unable to lead our nation. He must be removed from office without delay.

However, I doubt that Moscow Mitch McConnell and his cowardly party will ever do the right thing for the American people. They are not loyal to our nation: they are loyal to their party and themselves.
