“He’s a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot,” the senator says. “You know how you make America great again? Tell Donald Trump to go to hell.”
The former statement was made by South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham in 2015.
He added: “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person then there’s probably — you’ve got a problem.”
Mr Graham goes on to say Mr Biden is “as good a man as God ever created” and “is the nicest person I think I ever met in politics”.
The ad concludes with a statement from Mr Graham in 2015, in which he told CNN: “This is a defining moment in the future of the Republican Party.”
He adds: “We have to reject this demagoguery, and if we don’t reject Donald Trump, we’ve lost the moral authority … to govern this great nation.”
Today Graham is one of Trump’s most devoted supporters. Why the hypocrisy? The only way to explain his 180 degree change in position is the worst profession in the world: ‘professional politician.’
In 2016 Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by more than 14 points in South Carolina. Graham is desperate to receive votes from Trump’s cult. Like other ‘professional politicians,’ including Moscow Mitch McConnell, Chuck Grassley, and John Cornyn, his only ambition is to win elections. He has no morals, and no ideals and is willing to tell any lie which will help him win elections.
The truth is that dozens of Republicans supported ‘anyone but Trump’ prior to November 8, 2016. Today they all kiss his humongous ass. There is only a single Republican in Washington, his name is Mitt Romney.
The remainder are members of the Trump Party: the Grand Old Party is non-existent. Bowing to Trump is treason to the American people.
We must remove all right-wing politicians from Washington on November 3rd. This is our country, not theirs.
