As I have Said many Times, Women and Younger Americans can Control our Elections for Decades

Liberals

Fact: women compose 51 percent of America’s population. Fact: millennials are the largest voting bloc in America, replacing baby boomers.

In the latest polls, 53 percent of all women say they will not vote for Trump, and nine percent claim that they are unlikely to support the incumbent. Millennials and Generation “Z” also favor Joe Biden with an average of 60 percent.

The average age of all Americans is 38.2 years of age. Trump and Biden are both in their 70’s. However, Trump’s policies are regressive. Biden has promised to select a woman as his running mate. If he chooses a younger, more progressive vice-presidential candidate, he will have the support of younger Americans two-to-one.

The base of right-wing politicians is primarily older and white. Our nation is not only younger, it is becoming more diverse with every year. Younger Americans tend to support Democrats and Independents. They are less likely to be racist, homophobic, or sexist. They are also less likely to belong to a major religion. Those who do choose to practice a single faith are more likely to follow the religion of Islam.

Prior to 2018, younger voters were lethargic about their responsibility to cast their ballots in our elections. The midterm elections resulted in more women and younger candidates winning their contests than at any other time in history.

The numbers in recent polls prove that younger Americans and women disapprove of Trump’s failure to lead our nation’s fight against a predicted pandemic. They are also angry with his refusal to adamantly support black Americans in their fight for justice. Add to these issues Trump’s wars against Muslims, Hispanics, and our nation’s poor, and the growing support of women voters, and Biden should win in a virtual landslide.

Many politicos fear drastic measures from Trump prior to the November election. Which part of the Constitution will he attempt to violate this time?

It is paramount that every eligible voter cast his or her ballot on November 3rd. We have a responsibility to save our nation’s future, and that future belongs to Millennials and Generation “Z.”
