Trump disrespected every black man, woman, and child in America when he decided to hold one of his hate rallies in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the day after “Juneteenth.” For those of you who do not stay informed, “Juneteenth is the day we, the American people, celebrate the end of slavery in America. Why was Tulsa a poor choice, or maybe a deliberate choice by the leader of white supremacy in America? This was the city which on June 1, 1921, the largest slaughter of blacks in America became one of the most horrific days in America’s history. Over 800 men, women, and children were injured by a murderous white crowd, aided by the national guard, including aerial attacks on a successful black neighborhood. The number of deaths can only be estimated as over 300. The bodies were shoved into mass graves and most remain unidentified.

The hate rally happened yesterday, Saturday the 20^th. On Monday, Trump’s campaign manager promised a packed stadium where all attendees promised not to wear safety masks as the coronavirus escalates in Oklahoma. Two events involving Trump and Pence were planned after the event to thank the overflow crowd outside.

Before the event began, it was announced that six of Trump’s campaign staff had been diagnosed as positive for Covid-19. Strike one.

As Trump walked Triumphantly onto the stage, he witnessed a blow to his ego. There were many empty seats. Strike two.

After the sideshow ended, the two planned events outside of the arena were canceled. Strike three.

Late Saturday two groups composed of younger Americans, “K-Pop” fans, and “Tik Tok” took partial credit for the less than expected turnout which failed to fill the 19,000 seat stadium. These two groups claim to have sent hundreds of requests for tickets, and then never attended the event.

I find this very important for the results of our November election. Anyone who follows politics as closely as I do, is aware that only three demographics are large and powerful enough to control this and future elections. Women, millennials, and ‘generation X’ compose the majority of all American voters. The involvement of these younger Americans yesterday indicates an interest in voting and that’s very bad news for Trump and the Trump Party.

“You are warriors. We had some very bad people outside. They were doing bad things. But I really do appreciate it,” Trump told his crowd, appearing to explain away the empty seats as a result of “thugs” outside the arena, even though CNN teams on the ground said they did not see violence or people blocking entrances.

Let’s define what “thugs” means to Trump. There are multiple synonyms, including Democrats, peaceful protesters exercising their first amendment rights, anyone who opposes his fascist agenda, Biden supporters, and all real Americans who support the Constitution and the nation of our founding fathers.

I am a ‘thug,’ and very proud of that fact.
