“Florida, with 21 million residents, has reported more new daily coronavirus cases than any European country had at the height of their outbreaks.” In June, Florida infections rose by 168% or over 95,000 new cases. The percent of tests coming back positive has skyrocketed to 15% from 4% at the end of May.

Only one other state in the Union has reported more than 10,000 new cases in a single day. On April 10, New York reported 12,847 in one day.

Governor Ron DeSantis has refused to shutdown beaches and other areas with a high volume of people in a single, space. He has also refused to order face masks wherever his state’s people congregate. He allowed a formula for disaster and it has happened. New York, whose governor took action early to lessen the spread of he pandemic, has the lowest infection rate in America today at six percent.

I’m not sure if following and believing Trump makes you ignorant or just plain stupid.

Currently the U.S. is in a very similar situation as it was in late March and Trump and Pence continue to lie and claim that “it’s going away.”

Scientists warned our nation’s leaders of what is happening today, but arrogance and ignorance displaced logic and intelligent thought from Republicans.
