Dr. Fauci Warns of not only a Growing Healthcare Emergency, he is Forecasting Economic Devastation for America

Fauci

This week our nation’s greatest expert on viral contagion, Dr. Anthony Fauci, spoke before congress. As he offered his estimation of a growing pandemic in America, and its effects on our nation’s future, the mood in the room became darker and darker as doomsday appeared to be inevitable.

New cases in America are averaging more than 50,000 each day. To say that Covid-19 is out of control in several states whose governors ignored the seriousness of this pandemic is inaccurate. They are losing the battle, and frankly don’t know what to do. Like their president, they are incapable of leading their states in a crisis.

Your ignorant president was extremely eager to reopen American businesses. Most Americans were aware that doing so too early would exacerbate the situation. That is exactly what is happening today.

Trump

Fauci expects that the number of new cases each day will rise to as many as 100,000. Businesses will close again, with no estimation of when they might reopen. Hospitals will be filled to capacity, and instead of a slow and steady growth, he is predicting a depression from which our nation will not recover for a decade or even longer.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, who clinched the Democratic presidential nomination in June, recognized the poor response in a speechhe gave Tuesday, excoriating the Trump administration for its failure to unify the country in containing the spread of COVID-19. As Jennifer Rubin, writing for The Washington Post, noted this week:

[In sum, without a national plan based on science, we are right back where we started in March — or in an even worse spot. Biden echoed Fauci’s warning, asserting “the crisis is real — and it’s surging.” Trump has frittered away valuable time, urged counterproductive measures and set a poor example by declining to wear masks, which studies have suggested could save thousands of lives.]

Economic experts predict an eight-billion dollar deficit for the national treasury over the next decade. If Trump took the lead in January, businesses would be opening up today certain of a gradual recovery and steady economic growth.

This situation is similar to what occurred in January of 2017. Trump inherited a nation in full recovery. However, it was clear to everyone from his first day that destroying President Obama’s legacy was his primary goal. By removing program after program, placing huge tariffs on imports, giving tax breaks to the super-rich, and reducing the maximum corporate tax rate to a level allowing many large corporations to pay zero dollars in taxes, his rash decisions are adding trillions of dollars to the national deficit. If Trump was intelligent and understood economics, he would have continued the policies of a great president. Sadly, this malignant narcissist is unable and unwilling to recognize the accomplishments of others, especially if he was a black man. Our nation was headed to another recession long before the advent of Covid-19.

Other economists claim that if Trump had led early in the spread of the coronavirus, the devastation to America’s economy may have been prevented.

Trump has been the greatest failure to ever defile the White House. His lack of morals, principles and common sense, combined with an inadequate education and little knowledge about how government or any other American institution works has become our nation’s greatest disaster.
