Trump’s Debacle in Tulsa Caused an Increase in Cases of Covid-19

Trump Rally (2)

The time period between contagion and infection from Covid-19 is 10 days to two weeks. In the last two days, Tulsa, Oklahoma, has experienced an additional 500 cases of the pandemic. During his pitiful hate rally a small crowd of about 6,000 were crowded into their seats after they signed an agreement not to wear masks.

Trump continues to reject the scientific fact that masks can lessen or prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Trump has displayed zero interest in the health and safety of the American people, his only interest is in reelection, which is in great danger because of his inability to lead.

In a statement to CNN, Leanne Stephens of the Tulsa Health Department said, “Our epidemiologists and contact tracers are inundated with following up with Tulsa County residents who are confirmed positive as the numbers have been extremely high in recent days. Yesterday, we set a new single day case high and you can see on our website where the trends are moving.”

“There is no cure for stupid.” Trump is a liar and the greatest danger to the American people in history. After Trump denied the danger of the pandemic for more than two-and-one-half months, our country is now leading the world by an enormous number of cases and deaths related to Covid-19.

Trump failed to lead our nation from day one and now he is guilty of leading the increase in cases across the nation, primarily in states who have Republican governors.

Trump’s policy is defined by 13 words: “The American people will need to learn how to live with the virus.”

‘Dump Trump’ should be our new national slogan.
