Trump is the most hated man in the world. It’s only natural that when he loses a battle, real Americans celebrate another victory. We’ve had lots of opportunities to cheer for those who do the right thing and laugh at the orange buffoon.
This requires a question. “Hey Donny Boy, you promised your cult that they would ‘win so much, they would get tired of winning:’ when does the winning start?”
In the beginning of the worst presidency in history, he was constantly denied his fascist agenda for the sole reason that his proposals were violations of the Constitution. The truth is that every idea coming from the orange buffoon harms America. After he was impeached, Trump increased his crimes against the Law of the Land as his hypocritical party looked the other way.
Many of Trump’s actions and words disgust me, but once in a while I get to laugh at the obese con man, and this is one of those times.

No one can deny that Trump is the leader of white supremacy in America. His words and actions through the first half of 2020 are all in support of these fascist hate groups. He continues to attack protesters and the Black Lives Matter movement. So when New York Mayor Bill De Blasio decided to have a mural painted on Fifth Avenue, across from Trump Tower, honoring the BLM movement, I laughed and cheered. Trump had a slightly different response. No surprise there.
Painting the mural became a celebration. “No justice, no peace!” chanted the demonstrators, raising their fists in solidarity as an outnumbered group of critics expressed their disdain during an intense five-minute confrontation. “Black lives matter!”
De Blasio, ignoring insults hurled from the Fifth Ave. sidewalk, used a roller to help paint the bright yellow letter “L” on a sweltering afternoon where a stretch of the Midtown thoroughfare outside President Trump’s Manhattan skyscraper was closed.
Counter protesters who just don’t ‘get it’ were shouting “all lives matter,” but this did not deter the men and women celebrating a small victory for the black community.
One of the men proudly painting the mural is 54-year-old Mike Tucker. His son was killed by a bullet from an NYPD officer’s weapon in 2005. He expressed hope that the counter protesters would understand the true meaning behind the mural and the movement.
“This is not a symbol of hate,” he said. “We are just trying to get respect, and we are saying our lives matter. It doesn’t matter, the color of our skin. We should matter at all times.”
My personal feeling is that this is as ‘American act’ as you will ever see. Contrary to the beliefs Trump’s cowardly and hypocritical party, our nation is not white, Christian, or a plutocracy. We are a diverse nation and should be proud of that fact and the contributions made by every American.

Finally, I want to point out a simple fact to all others like myself whose lives of white privilege have been taken for granted. We can never fully understand what it means to be ‘black’ in America, and I can point to one huge difference between whites and blacks which seems unreal and should be unnecessary. I never had to tell my son or daughter how to act in the presence of a member of law enforcement to prevent physical harm or possible death. Think about it.
