What are the duties and Responsibilities of an American President?
[An American President’s duties include leading the Executive Branch, enforcing laws, serving as Commander-in-Chief, conducting foreign policy as Chief Diplomat, appointing officials (with Senate approval), proposing legislation, vetoing bills, granting pardons, and acting as Head of State and party leader, all while ensuring the nation’s well-being as outlined in Article II of the Constitution.]
What can a president not do?
[A U.S. President cannot make laws, declare war, decide federal spending, interpret laws, or act unilaterally to change major rules; these powers belong to Congress, while the President must work within the Constitution’s system of checks and balances, needing Senate approval for appointments, and subject to court review and congressional override, meaning they can’t exceed executive branch authority with executive orders or override constitutional limits.]
Clearly, none of this applies to Trump because he is a dictator. Thank you SCOTUS.
Other notable facts: the Attorney General and the Department of Justice are intended to be independent from the executive branch. However, in 2026 they work for your illegitimate president. They click their heels and bow to his every demand.
The most important display of incompetence comes from the fact that Trump continues to ignore the problems facing his country, and declared himself the emperor of Venezuela, and wants to become the king of Greenland. If you don’t find this laughable, you are one of the many Trump loyalists who possess less than average intelligence.
Maybe it’s time for all candidates declaring themselves eligible for the presidency to take a battery of tests including mental and physical fitness.
I would demand this of any man or woman, especially if they were in their 70’s. A working president must have stamina along with exceptional intelligence and devotion to his or her nation’s people.
Trump is totally unfit on all counts, but most importantly, he is not an American.
