Trump is a pathological liar. This is an irrefutable fact. His most recent lie involvse his opposition to mail-in voting.

“And do you know that we’re the only country in the world — I believe, I may be wrong — but just about the only country in the world that uses (mail-in voting) because of what’s happened, massive fraud all over the place,” Trump said.

NOW FOR THE THING TRUMP HATES THE MOST: THE TRUTH

At least 12 other nations allow voters to use voting by mail. Each has their own system in place, and, like it is in America, incidents involving voter fraud are extremely rare.

In America, mail-in voting began after the Civil War.

Australia introduced voting by mail more than a century ago.

Canadiens are encouraged to use the postal system to cast their votes.

Hoping to increase voter turnout, the United Kingdom began allowing mail-in voting in the early 2000’s.

WHY TRUMP AND HIS REPUBLICANS IN NAME ONLY OPPOSE MAIL-IN VOTING

Fact: a large turnout at the polls, combined with voting by mail, favors Democrats. A low turnout benefits Republicans. The best example is the 2020 election. An historical voter turnout resulted in an enormous defeat for Trump and his Nazi Party.

A personal note. I am the same age as Trump. I will be an octogenarian prior to the November election. I am disabled and have other ailments related mostly to old age. I cannot stand in line at the polls. The elimination of voting by mail would violate my First Amendment Right.

SADLY, TRUMP CONTINUES TO VOICE HIS BIGGEST LIE

The 2020 election was “the fairest and most secure in history.” This according to Trump’s own election czar. 60 state courts and Trump’s own stacked Supreme Court agreed with him.

However, Trump continues the “big lie,” and defends his treasonous, attempted coup on January 6, 2021.

I condemn any American who chooses ignorance over fact. Uninformed voters are the primary reason our nation’s federal government is the most corrupt in the world, and why it is dysfunctional beyond repair.

HONEST POLITICIANS HAVE ALWAYS ENCOURAGED ALL AMERICANS TO VOTE

Every election should have a 100 percent turnout of qualified voters. This is the most ‘American’ thing we can do.

However, right-wing politicians continue to pass laws, rules, and regulations intended to reduce voter turnout. They fear the truth and continue to ignore the needs and wishes of the majority of 340 million people.

Finally, the 10th Amendment prevents the federal government from controlling how our elections are conducted. This right belongs to the states.

Another failure for Donald Trump?
