Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, is a hypocritical wuss. He exposed his support for complete white supremacy this week after the death of civil rights icon, Jesse Jackson.

The Civil and Human Rights Icon left his earthly bonds last Tuesday at the age of 84. He was human. He made mistakes and had flaws. However for Black Americans, he was a hero.

He began his public life serving Dr. Martin Luther King and was with the great man when he was assassinated on April 4, 1968. He continued to spend his life fighting for the promise of equality and justice for all men.

A PARTY COMPOSED OF RACISTS AND BIGOTS

If you pay any attention to what happens in your country, you know that over the last 45+ years, the once Grand Old Party has moved so far to the right it has embraced fascism and levels of racism and bigotry unseen since the mid-twentieth century.

Look at the one fact which cannot be denied.

When Trump attempted a coup on January 6, 2021, his fascist army was led by men who have their own band of traitors known as Neo-Nazis.

BLACK AMERICANS ASKED SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON TO ALLOW REVEREND JACKSON’S BODY TO LIE IN STATE IN THE CAPITOL

Black Americans wanted to honor one of their champions. Speaker Mike Johnson was asked to allow Reverend Jackson’s body to rest in the Capitol Building rotunda for all who wished to pay their respects. His answer consisted of one word: “No.”

JOHNSON’S LONG HISTORY OF RACIST ACTIONS AND RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY WAS EXPOSED FOR ALL TO SEE

Although Johnson denies his support for Hitler, Putin, and other fascist dictators, his lies have been exposed on multiple occasions.

In one situation, a group chat between multiple Republican leaders, including Johnson, 31-year-old Peter Giunta, former chair of the New York State Young Republicans, who referred to Black people as “watermelon people” and “monkeys” and wrote “I love Hitler” during an exchange about appealing to delegates by being “the most right-wing person.”

In total, the chat contained more than 250 slurs, including multiple uses of the n-word and the homophobic f-slur.

This is only one example of the fake Christian’s involvement in the white supremacist movement.

WHAT WOULD JOHNSON HAVE DONE IF THE SITUATION INVOLVED THE LEADER OF THE PROUD BOYS, ENRIQUE TARRIO?

If one of Trump’s generals who led the Neo-Nazis during the January 6 violent insurrection like the leader of the Proud Boys, Enrique Tarrio, had passed, I have no doubt that Trump and Johnson would have planned a state funeral.

DURING HIS FIRST THIRTEEN MONTHS, WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF JOHNSON, TRUMP HAS MOVED OUR NATION BACKWARDS INTO THE DARK DAYS BEFORE THE PASSAGE OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT

It is no secret that the two Americas have been engaged in a battle for decades. On one side are Black Americans, led by courageous men who believed in peaceful protests while demeaning their inalienable rights. On the other were white men and women who no longer hid their faces under hoods, seeking legal action to place all minorities in a position of servitude and eventually return slavery to America.

The Republican Party ended its pretense in the 1980’s as President Reagan revealed his personal prejudices. He began the right wing’s wars on the working class, minorities, women, and all non-Christians.

JOHNSON AND HIS PARTY REFUSE TO CELEBRATE OUR NATION’S MOST IMPORTANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

In my 79 years, I learned many lessons. Some derived from my own mistakes, and some from the failures and successes of our federal government.

Every time I witnessed forward movement designed to eliminate racism and bigotry in America, some members of the federal government took actions to nullify moves designed to eliminate the problems which prevent America from becoming a great nation.

However, not a single act of racism or bigotry prior to Trump’s illegitimate presidency, can compare to his destructive efforts and obvious hatred for anyone who is not pure white and wealthy.

The only description which applies to Trump accurately is the “Antichrist.”
