Trump never listens to anyone but himself. He actually believes that he “knows more than anyone else in the world,” although the truth is that he is the least educated old man on the planet.
As your illegitimate president, he refuses to listen to all 340 million people. He is not interested in the fact that his primary responsibility is to support the wishes of the people he was illegitimately elected to serve. He is not interested in the fact that most Americans oppose another war in the Middle East.
I AM A PROUD AND DEVOTED PACIFIST
I am a lifelong pacifist, and proud of it. The vast majority of the American people oppose the idea of another war in the Middle East for many reasons. The truth is, our military leaders in the Pentagon have lost four wars since the end of WWII: Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. They should not be given an opportunity to lose a fifth.
However, Trump once told his cult, “I love wars; even the nuclear kind.”
In this situation, I am convinced that his attacks against Venezuela, Iran, and now Jordan, are efforts to distract attention related to the Trump-Epstein files. No one, not even his Nazi followers, could realistically support underage sex trafficking.
I know that not a single war has been “won” in modern history, including WWII. Fascism is growing across America and Western Europe.
I commiserate with an article in the Portsmouth Herald. Wealthy men create wars and poor men fight them. I praise the men and women who give everything for our nation’s leaders and fight wars, all too frequently until they lose their lives. Giving them our thanks is far from sufficient.
I did not serve in Vietnam, although I am an original baby boomer. I enlisted in the USAF on September 11, 1964. I was medically discharged in March of 1965. My recruiter hid information from his superiors about a pre-existing condition.
I am oddly grateful to him. I am not a “military person.” I am too independent to accept control over my life by other men whose superiority is based on rank. I don’t believe I could kill another person, even when my own life was in the balance. I would think about their families and how the death of someone they loved would alter their lives forever.
MORE THAN A DECADE IN THE PAST, TRUMP REVEALED A VERY LOW LEVEL OF INTELLIGENCE
Still a very young man, and an admirer of men and women who possess exceptional intellects, I realized that above all factors which gave them superior intellects, was their ability to listen.
I know that you are saying, “I listen.” In most situations, I disagree.
Truly listening requires focus on the words of another without filling your own mind with thoughts simultaneously. We all need to hear what others have to say. Knowledge is all around us, but most ignore its existence.
Trump constantly uses the same “techniques” practiced by Fox News’ paid liars, better known as personalities. He never allows a reporter who is asking a direct question to complete a sentence. He has refused to answer any direct question with a direct answer for his entire, pitiful life. Every member of his Nazi Party follows his lead.
TRUMP’S ILLEGAL WAR WILL CONTINUE UNTIL HE DECIDES HIS PERSONAL AMBITIONS ARE COMPLETE
I consider myself an educated and informed man. I am aware that the people of all nations known as “Theocracies” suffer from authoritarian rule and are denied personal freedoms, including free thought. I am also aware that younger men and some women in Iran are very educated and oppose their leaders.
However, they are disorganized and fail to have leaders who are in a position of power and influence.
Trump is not bright enough to understand this. His plans for regime change cannot become a reality at this moment. It will happen over time, but not today.
My generation, original baby-boomers, are responsible for many positive changes in America. These changes began in the 1960’s when I was a teenager. They reached a peak in the late 1960’s and early 70’s with the end of the illegal and undefined war in Vietnam.
Today, many in my demographic hold positions of power in our government and big business. I will become an octogenarian in July of this year. Trump will be 80 in June, George W. Bush will celebrate his 80th birthday one day prior to my own, and Bill Clinton will join our group on August 19th.
These three presidents represent some of the best and worst of my generation. I hope I will be remembered for my own efforts to offer the truth to those who are uninformed and my attempts to save the dream of our Founding Fathers.
