Ted Cruz talks about fighting Washington and ‘the establishment.’ He is pointing the finger at himself. He is the reason why our government is broken; it was his plan and his fault.
His ads are full of lies, and it appears that voters are not fooled.
Today is the Nevada Republican Caucus. The polls indicate another huge victory for Donald Trump. The most recent polls give Trump a percentage as high as 45 percent; the most Cruz can achieve is 23. Marco Rubio is a distant third at 19 percent.
Trump is not tempering his attacks on the failed Senator from Texas. Speaking in Las Vegas last night, Trump lambasted Cruz’ most frequent ad in Nevada.
“He’s got an ad, something to do with I want to take away your land and I want to keep it in the federal government,” Trump said incredulously. “I don’t even know what the hell they’re talking about.”
Neither does any Nevadan such as myself. It is true that 80 percent of Nevada land is under the control of the BLM; and we’re happy about it. We do not want it owned by real estate developers. Outdoor activities are one of the primary reasons we live here. So what is Cruz talking about? He is supporting cattle ranchers. They want to have unrestricted grazing for their animals. They do not want to spend money feeding them. Cruz is supporting extremists much like himself, such as the ‘Bundy’ family.
Make no mistake about it, Cruz doesn’t care about you. He was ‘bought and paid for’ years ago by the one-percent. His loyalties belong to the Koch brothers and others who own the TEA Party.
Cruz’ primary voting bloc are evangelists; but he lost them to Trump in South Carolina.
“The evangelicals didn’t vote for him,” Trump said. “And you know why? Because they don’t like liars. They’re really smart people. They don’t want to vote for a liar.”
The ultimate truth was spoken by Trump weeks ago; ‘no one likes Ted Cruz.’ He fails to have the support of one member of Congress or his own party. Cruz is simply a pariah.
A vote for Cruz is a vote for a cult leader. He has consistently sought the destruction of our political system and would replace it with a plutocracy. He has never shown any ability to negotiate, and refuses to compromise.
Cruz is not ‘presidential.’
